Custom motorsport parts, made one at a time
Race3D is a Swedish workshop that designs and manufactures parts for race cars, rally cars, drift builds and classic touring cars. We are not a print bureau that uploads your file and ships a box. We build and sell our own automotive parts, which means we know what a part goes through inside a wheel arch at 120 km/h and what fails after one season.
Everything from a single one-off to a short production run. No tooling, no minimum order, and a fixed quote within 24 hours.
What we make for motorsport
- Air ducts and brake cooling — routed around whatever is actually in the way in your car, not around a catalogue drawing.
- Intake trumpets and airbox details — including sizes that were never sold, such as 48 mm trumpets for individual throttle bodies.
- Brackets and mounts — for sensors, wiring, catch tanks, dash panels and electronics.
- Bodywork details — grilles, headlight covers, blanking plates, louvres, splitter details.
- Interior and dash — switch panels, gauge pods, blanking panels, steering column details.
- Obsolete parts — we measure your broken original and rebuild it in CAD, reinforced where it failed.
Materials, and where the limits are

We will also tell you when plastic is the wrong answer. We do not make safety critical parts where failure means injury — brake components, steering parts or load bearing chassis mounts. Anything sitting directly against an exhaust manifold belongs in metal, and we say so instead of selling you a part that will creep and sag.
Print orientation matters more than material choice
A layer line in the wrong direction makes the part weak in exactly the axis the load arrives from. Most failed printed parts we see did not fail because of the plastic — they failed because they were oriented for easy printing rather than for the load path. We orient every part around how it is loaded, add material where the stress concentrates, and change snap fits to bolted joints where a part will be removed more than once.

- Send what you have — a CAD file, a sketch, photos with a tape measure, or the broken original.
- Fixed quote within 24 hours — price, lead time and a material recommendation.
- Design or reverse engineering — you approve the model before anything is made.
- Test part in 1–5 working days — fit it, run it, tell us what to change.
- Short run — once it is right, we make as many as you need, whenever you need them.
Shipping and where we are
We work out of Polhemsgatan 17 A in Karlskrona, Sweden, and ship across Sweden and to Norway, Denmark, Germany and Poland. Correspondence in Swedish or English, whichever you prefer.
FAQ
Do I need a CAD file?
No. A sketch, photos with a tape measure next to the part, or the original part itself is enough for us to start.
What is the minimum order?
One part. There is no tooling cost to amortise, so single pieces are economical.
How fast can you deliver?
A test part is typically 1–5 working days once the model is approved. Tell us your race weekend and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.
Can printed parts survive engine bay heat?
In ASA, up to roughly 100 °C continuous. Above that we will recommend metal rather than guess.
Do you work with teams outside Sweden?
Yes. We ship within the EU and correspond in English.
